Dr. Amy Pemberton earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 from Eastern Washington University. Since then she has further developed her skill set by completing a nine month certification in biodynamic craniosacral therapy (CCST) and a ten month fellowship in Applied Function Science (FAFS) from the Gray Institute making her a biomechanics expert. Other techniques employed by Dr. Amy include lymphatic drainage, strain counterstrain, myofascial release, total motion release, muscle energy techniques, whole body vibration and frequency specific microcurrent. Dr. Amy utilizes a holistic treatment approach with all of her patients and takes a special interest in “listening” to each individual body’s needs. She believes the body is designed to heal itself and views her role in the healing process as a facilitator to the body’s inherent capabilities. When she’s not serving her patients, Amy enjoys hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, paddle boarding, basketball, anything in the great outdoors, traveling and spending quality time with her husband Ryan, family and friends.
